Printing FAQ (EN)

  • Unlocking with a chip/key fob does not work

    • Unfortunately, old chips/key fobs do not work correctly and cannot be used to log in to printers. If you have one, you must replace it with a new one at the CTU Card Centre. In the meantime, you can use your card or name and password to log in.

  • Printing on Linux/macOS does not work; jobs are not sent

    • The problem is registered with version ~CUPS 2.4.1 and higher. Check the URI in the printer settings according to the instructions. Jobs must be sent to the printer using LPR/LPD, not http/https/ipp/ipps.
